Full Cleaning and Overhaul

It is recommended that every four to five years a proper cleaning and overhaul should be performed on mechanical watches. This service will keep your watch running smoothly and may identify performance issues before they arise. Our cleaning and overhaul services include mechanism disassembly to inspect how the parts are working. Adjustments are made as the master watchmaker examines the watch. Our cleaning and overhaul package includes all parts as needed

A typical cleaning and overhaul generally include

  • Disassembly of the case and dialed movement
  • Ultrasonic cleaning & lubrication of the movement
  • Replacement of all worn and damaged movement parts
  • Testing of the rate and adjustment if needed
  • Water resistance test (when applicable)
  • Reassembly of the case and dialed movement
  • Quality control testing

Crystal & Gasket Replacement

Through normal wear, the crystal on a watch may be prone to scratches or cracks. In some instances, we can buff out scratches and make it look like new again. More frequently, if the crystal is cracked or chipped, it will need to be replaced. We offer replacement watch crystals that are made of sapphire or acrylic.

Pressure Testing

If you use your watch for water sports or regularly get your watch wet, it is recommended that your watch be water pressure tested when the crystal is replaced. Our pressure test evaluates a watch’s water resistance up to 100 meters to ensure the integrity of your watch has been maintained. This process also includes the replacement and lubrication of the gasket surrounding the crystal. It is recommended that a pressure test be performed every two to three years.

Stem and Crown Replacement

The round knob that is located on the side of a watch is called the crown. A stem is the small rod that attaches the crown to the watch movement, enabling the user to set time and wind the watch.

Due to normal wear and tear or over-winding, the crown and/or stem may break off or become inoperable. In these instances, they will need to be replaced.

Case And Bracelet Polishing

Want to make your watch and bracelet look like new? Our craftsmen will disassemble your watch and machine polish both the case and the bracelet. This service is available on gold watches and bands only and excludes gold plated watches and bands.

Our process includes removing scratches and dents from cases and bracelets and polishing back to the original luster. The watch and bracelet are then cleaned, steamed, and hand buffed to complete the process. The movement is then reassembled and examined for accuracy.
